In 2022 I did over 12K a month using the exact methodology you're about to learn here.
It works. It works for me. It works for my students in the BootCamp I teach. And it'll work for you.
Depending on who you are, an extra 12K a month is probably life-changing.
There's so much information out there on how to start a business but where do you even begin?
The method you're about to learn here leaves no stone unturned and will teach you everything you need to know to get the most important outcome for solopreneurs starting out... Getting freaking paying customers!
Everything else is a distraction.
So if you want to start your journey towards $10K+ a month, keep reading.
2023 Update: In 2022, I've made $20K+ on autopilot selling information. This means eBooks and videos where I'm getting paid without having to do additional work after the creation of the product. This does not include my consulting revenue.
After my first company (one of the first and biggest urban sports performances & workshop companies in The Netherlands), I wanted to do something else... something more intellectual.
So I did what I always do... I studied everything.
I followed many (too many) people's advice and started working on new companies. I had so much more knowledge and yet my bank account was running dry...
The Problem With Solopreneurship Education
I quickly learned that there are many "gurus" online, selling the dream and making promises they don't keep.
And there's legitimate advice given by startup accelerators and investors who're trying to get deal flow. However, that advice, while good, is DEADLY if you're not trying to build a unicorn company (company with a valuation of at least 1 billion).
There wasn't much in the middle.
I knew I had to do something different.
Over the course of the next few years, I went from almost running out of runway to having more than enough money to work when I want to, but more importantly for me, on what I want.
I have terrible SEO, I use ghetto tools (like this Gumroad page instead of a fancy landing page), a thoroughly mediocre website, and no advertising campaign.
And yet, I'm on track to make $150,720 this year.
But unlike all my competitors, there's one thing I do really well: I do a ridiculous amount of research in order to make products and services so good people want to throw their money at me.
You see, what most people do is start at the end.
They make the product and then try to find buyers.
That's no different than making the most beautiful key you can and then going into the world trying to find a door with a lock your key will open.
Ridiculous, no? And yet, that's what almost everyone does and recommends.
Even the extremely popular lean startup recommends this approach with the slight tweak of iterating. Make your key quickly, try to see if it opens the door, and then iterate based on the result.
But the problem is that if you're too far off, you won't get ANY feedback at all!
So what my entire approach is based on is Research-First.
Do some exploring to find a door with a simple lock. THEN make a simple key quickly. Put it in the lock and twist it. Now file the key down and keep repeating that until the key works!
Don't sell what you wanna sell, sell what people wanna buy!
Here's exactly what this product will teach you:
- How to pick a specific niche audience overflowing with cash
- How to thoroughly study them and unearth their expensive problems
- How to find out what solutions your audience is currently spending their hard-earned money on
- What they hate about those solutions (this will help you make a product so good they'll say "shut up and take my money!")
- How to charge a lot more than your competitors who are fighting for scraps
- How to become the go-to person for your niche audience's specific problem. You'll get so many requests, you'll have to turn down work.
- And so much more.
If you're a solopreneur or an employee that wants to sell their expertise and go from $0 to $10K a month in the lowest risk way possible but you don't have the budget for YRC, then this is for you.
Note for the eBook customers ⚠️
- This book is short at only 29 pages!
- The information will seem obvious.
This is by design.
i. The biggest issue with respect to information products is consumption. The completion rate of courses and books is 10% or lower. A short book is a read book and I don't want you to read this book, I want you to study it.
I've gotten bad ratings from people that bought it and immediately emailed me that it's too short after skimming. So consider yourself warned and also ask yourself: "How many massive books are sitting on my bookshelf collecting dust?"
My point exactly.
ii. Creators (like me) are aware of the cognitive bug in consumers' minds where they want to feel like they got their money’s worth. This means that a 20hr read-time book “feels” better even though it’s objectively worse at delivering on the promise: helping the reader. This is exactly why the average business book is so full of fluff and useless freebies.
I’ve spent a ton of time aggressively editing it down and future editions might be shorter still. You’re not paying for the length of the book any more than you’re paying your dentist based on how long it took to fill your cavity. (That would imply you’d pay more if he took longer.)
This book is written in plain English. Unfortunately, that means some people fall prey to tool bias. It seems simple so it is simple. That’s like following someone through a maze and then thinking it was easy.
It wasn’t.
It just seemed like it.
What you’re about to read is RADICALLY different and diametrically opposed to what you’ve been told your entire life. If your brain tells you it’s obvious, ask yourself “Am I already doing this then?” When the answer is (inevitably) "No", you’ll realize that it’s not obvious at all.
Good luck on your journey and let me know how it's going!
